Well, maybe not may be. More than likely. But, I mean, I like my job, so that makes sense, right?

If you do what you love, should it really be called "work"?

Well, there is a new accent of n00b language. It's called: Vet LUEser goes Foreign!-MegaSpy22

Workaholism is a tricky business. It is good to be compelled to Get Things Done, but not to work for work's sake. The trick is that if even if you do focus on Getting Things Done, you may end up working for work's sake, because trying to Get Things Done gets you in the habit of working, and the habit itself can come to dominate the original goal.

I'm not totally sure why, but that felt a bit like reading a TVTropes article.

Yeah I noticed it once you said it. It was the nagging feeling that there were phrases that were being used in ways that are different from the ways they would be in normal speech, and I could work it out in context, but there's some incredibly complex denoted meaning somewhere that's being evoked.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

The meaning the capitalization gave it was basically getting things done for the sake of getting things done.

Well, for one thing, I rarely post here. I feel like I have no time for anything besides work. (I only see Rob on the weekends, I don't cook as much, etc.)

But what I also meant was the way I approach things: I only like doing things, even leisure things, if it is "productive." I won't just sit and watch TV, but I will watch TV shows I have saved, because I am checking them off the list of things to do.
