Well, 6 of them are expansions and 2 of them are alternate versions, but still, that's a lot.

Paper Mario Social: The Safe Haven of GameFAQs. (Board 2000083)
I recently bought like a third one. It was Troyes which I have yet to crack.
My point is, I stand in awe.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

Well, I mean, a lot of them are family ones that I took with me at various points/when I moved out. A bunch belonged to my mom. But I have gotten a lot on my own.

I love playing them, but haven't invested. I'm jealous.
Holy crap that's all kinds of awesome.
I have like 5 different versions of Monopoly, so that's my claim to fame I guess.
If I remember correctly: NFL (90s- where Houston is still the Oilers and there are only 31 teams), Yankees, Dog, Pokemon & NASCAR maybe. I don't actually own the regular version, ironically enough.

Wowsers, that's a lot of board games.
Have you tried Risk Legacy? You play with the same group of people over 15 separate games, and the rules and board change from game to game. Stickers with different perks or disadvantages are permanently placed on territories and cards are torn in half, so everything has a fun weightiness to it.
That being said, the board and its pieces are kinda useless after 15 games.

I've been kind of intrigued by that, but a scared off so far because, y'know, it's still Risk and no one in my group loves Risk.
I do kind of want to know what's in the "never open ever" pack, though I know in my heart it can't be as cool as the mystery itself. Well I guess it could if it were like Pandora's Box and it causes Eastern Europe to sink into the sea.
I just got a copy of Resistance: Avalon, which is Resistance but with a downright silly number of special characters (like Merlin is a good guy who knows who the evil guys are, but if they figure out who he is they win, but percival knows who merlin is and can mess with them, but Morgan Le Fey pretends to be Merlin for the purposes of that exchange). I have no idea when I'll have 5-10 gaming people handy but, boy, when I do.
